With one week down, the intensity of Ronin SA has only increased. Scott has now settled into the relentless pace of training, but there is no room for complacency. Week Two introduced more advanced skills, higher expectations, and assessments that would test everything he had learned so far.
This week was about building on the foundation. Medical training became more complex, tactical drills became more demanding, and every trainee was pushed to demonstrate not just competence but mastery. The instructors were clear: good enough is not good enough.
Day 6: Focus on First Response Emergency Care (FREC) and Tactical Medical Assistance (TMA)
Day 6 marked a deeper dive into FREC and TMA, two critical components of close protection work. Scott and his team were trained to respond to a wide range of medical emergencies, from cardiac events to traumatic injuries sustained in hostile environments.
The training was intense and highly realistic. Every scenario was designed to replicate the chaos and pressure of a real emergency, forcing trainees to think clearly, act decisively, and execute medical procedures with precision.

Days 7-8: Pedestrian Escort & Reconnaissance Training
Days 7 and 8 shifted the focus to tactical movement. The team learned pedestrian escort techniques, mastering formations, communication protocols, and threat detection while on the move.
Reconnaissance training taught them how to assess environments before operations, identify potential threats, and plan secure routes. In close protection, preparation is everything. The ability to anticipate and mitigate risks before they materialize is what separates exceptional operators from the rest.

Day 9: Conflict Management and Survival Training
Day 9 introduced conflict management, a skill that extends beyond physical confrontation. The team learned de-escalation techniques, threat assessment, and how to manage volatile situations without resorting to force.
Understanding when and how to use force is just as important as knowing when to avoid it. In the world of close protection, discretion, professionalism, and composure are paramount.

Day 10: Final Assessments
The week concluded with final assessments, where every trainee had to prove they had absorbed and could apply the skills learned. From tactical medical response to conflict management, every aspect of their training was scrutinized.
Scott and his team had to demonstrate not just technical proficiency but the ability to remain calm, composed, and effective under pressure. These assessments were not just about passing, they were about proving readiness for real-world operations.
By the end of Week Two, Scott had once again proven himself. But the course was far from over.
