What We’ve Built Together The Ops Con – First Quarter Impact Since Our Platform Launch

14 Feb 2026
The Ops Con

When we relaunched The Ops Con platform in October 2025, we set out with a clear objective: Build something that genuinely creates opportunity.

Not just another network.

Not just a place to swap stories.

Not a charity model dependent on donations.

But a professional platform that delivers real employment pathways, real training access, and real support for our Armed Forces and Blue Light community.

The Ops Con operates as a sustainable membership platform. Revenue generated through memberships, training partnerships, and product sales is reinvested directly into the training fund and member support initiatives. The value created stays within our community, strengthening the opportunities available to those who have served, those who continue to serve, and those transitioning into new roles.

This post shares what we’ve achieved in our first full quarter since launch — and what your membership has helped build.

A Community That’s Growing

In our first quarter since launch, the platform has grown to 2,681 active users across more than 10 countries, with 55% based internationally. During this quarter alone, 2,597 new users joined.

Across the platform, there were 19,583 interactions this quarter — members engaging with employment opportunities, accredited training, professional resources, and partner pathways.

Real Work, Not Just Conversations

In this first quarter, 12% of subscribed members were deployed on paid work through our founding partners.

We also onboarded 5 new partners and affiliations, expanding trusted and vetted routes into employment and professional development.

Training That Removes Barriers

Members currently have access to 24 active training courses, delivered by 10 trusted training partners globally.

During this first quarter, members saved over £1,000 collectively and 4 members accessed the training fund to support their development.

Additional funding was available this quarter, and our focus now is ensuring more members are aware of and apply for it.

Supporting Veteran and Blue Light Businesses

This quarter, 91 products were featured in The Ops Con Store, representing 7 veteran and Blue Light owned businesses.

Giving Back

The Afghanistan Veterans Community (AVC) is The Ops Con’s chosen charity partner. We have pledged to allocate 10% of membership revenue to support the work they do.

In this first quarter since launch, £500 was donated to the AVC as part of that ongoing commitment.

What This Means

Since launching the new platform in October, we have achieved strong early traction and measurable progress across growth, employment, training, and community support.

What Comes Next

·      Increase funded training opportunities.

·      Expand employment pathways.

·      Grow our partner network.

·      Grow our membership to strengthen the reach and resilience of our community.

·      Introduce a structured programme of events to strengthen collaboration, create networking opportunities, and connect members directly with trusted partners and industry leaders.

·      Support veteran and Blue Light owned businesses.

·      Deliver measurable value — not noise.
