The Ops Con Academy
A Level 3 pre-hospital care qualification designed for first responders, equipping operators to manage trauma and medical emergencies until advanced care arrives.
About This Course
The Emergency Care First Responder (ECFR) Level 3 qualification is a comprehensive pre-hospital care course designed for individuals who may be first on scene in emergency situations. It provides the knowledge, skills, and confidence to assess incidents, manage casualties, and deliver life-saving interventions in high-pressure environments. Aligned with the Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine (PHEM) framework, this course prepares learners to operate effectively in roles such as close protection, security operations, event medical support, and frontline response. Through a combination of classroom learning and scenario-based training, participants develop critical skills in trauma care, airway management, oxygen therapy, and emergency medical response. This qualification is nationally recognised and valid for three years, making it an ideal step beyond basic first aid and a strong foundation for further progression into advanced medical training such as FREC.
