About This Course

The S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L Tier 1 Advisor Package represents the highest level of recognition within The Ops Con S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L Programme. This pathway is designed for professionals who require a comprehensive understanding of operating safely and effectively in austere and high-risk environments. Through a structured series of courses delivered in person, participants develop operational awareness, threat recognition and medical capability required to operate alongside journalists, NGOs, expeditionary teams and security organisations working in complex environments. Participants will complete the full S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L training pathway: • S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L Level 1 – Foundations of Safe Operations in Austere & High-Risk Environments • S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L Level 2 – IED, UXO & Drone Threat Awareness • S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L Level 2 – OSINT & Threat Intelligence • S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L Level 2 – Media Backwatch Principles • S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L HEFAT – Hostile Environment First Aid Training All training is delivered in person, allowing participants to fully engage with instructors and benefit from the small cohort training environment. Completion of this pathway leads to S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L Tier 1 Advisor recognition. Tier 1 Advisors have completed the full Sentinel operational training framework and demonstrated the highest level of programme engagement. Tier 1 Advisors are included on the S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L Register and receive lifetime refresher access to Level 1 and Level 2 training, subject to course availability. Medical certification must be renewed separately to remain current. All courses must be completed within 12 months of purchase. In-person training cohorts are limited to six participants to ensure high instructor engagement and depth of learning.
