Why Our Partner Network Matters

The security industry is swamped.

Swamped with training providers, and with companies you might work for. Plenty of them are excellent, run by good people who look after their own and set a standard the rest should aspire to, and plenty are not. From the outside, with a website and a logo, the two look exactly the same.

There is no shortage of bold claims. They will tell you what they can do for your career, or what their service can do for their clients but not all of them live up to it. The catch is you often cannot tell which is which until you have spent the time, or the money, finding out.

Our partner network exists to fix that, not to add to the noise but to shine a light on the companies worth your time.

A network is only as good as the names in it

Anyone can slap a wall of logos on a website and call it a network, but ours is not that.

Our partners are the companies you might work for, the training providers who develop you, the suppliers and specialists you rely on, and the ecommerce partners whose products are worth your money. We have chosen each one, one at a time, because we trust them: trust to deliver, trust to look after our members, trust to hold the same standards we do. If we would not send a friend to them, they are not in.

Our ecommerce partners carry a second purpose. Every one is a veteran or blue-light owned company, their products made by people who have served. Backing our own is part of what we do.

Choose them that carefully, one by one, and you get a network you can rely on. Anything less is just a list of logos.

A network is only worth anything if you can trust every name in it.

Nobody joins without a conversation

We do not go out on the hard sell, and we do not chase companies to sign up. They come to us, and they come because they believe in what we are building: a platform and a network that keeps standards in the security industry high, holds the line on professionalism, and backs the community that depends on it.

No company becomes a partner without a founder-led conversation first. We sit down with them, founder to founder, and check that their ethos and values line up with the mission. If they do not, the answer is no, however good it looks on paper.

It does not stop at a handshake. Every partner signs an agreement to uphold the standard: to support the mission, and to provide guidance and opportunities for our members. Being in the network is a commitment, not a logo on a page.

Honour, integrity and honesty matter in every part of life, and in this one more than most. Being part of our network is a sign a company has them woven into how it works, not printed on a values page and forgotten.

We say no more than people expect. Not because we enjoy it, but because it is the only way the network means anything.

Being in the network is a commitment, not a logo on a page.

What that does for you

For an operator, the value is simple: it takes the guesswork out.

When we point you towards a training provider, a supplier or a company, you are not gambling on a stranger with a slick website. We have already done the homework, so you are getting a name we have checked, chosen and would happily use ourselves. In an industry where a wrong turn costs you real time and real money, that shortcut is worth a lot.

It is not all signposting. Our partners put on free workshops for our members, a chance to upskill, and to see how a provider actually teaches before committing to a full course. This is the network earning its keep: real value up front, and a proper look before you spend.

When you are ready to commit, many of our partners offer our members exclusive discounts on their courses. The network saves you money as well as time.

It does not replace your own research, and it should not. But it gives you a trusted place to start, instead of a search bar and a leap of faith.

Collaboration over competition

Most outfits in this space try to keep you inside their own four walls, but we work the other way round.

If the best answer for you is another company's course, another firm's contract, another provider's kit, we will tell you, and point you to them. We would rather send you to the right partner than keep you for ourselves and watch you get less than you deserve. Collaboration over competition. It is not a slogan we picked because it sounded nice, it is how the whole thing is built.

It does not stop with us. Our partners work with each other, not against each other, delivering courses together and taking on contracts side by side. They are in the network because they believe what we believe: there is more strength in working together than in fighting over the same ground.

It protects everyone in it

A trusted network cuts both ways.

Because the Ops Con name is attached to every partner, every partner has a reason to uphold it, and every member gets the benefit. Let one bad actor in and the whole network is worth less. Keep the standard high and it protects the good companies already in it, the members who rely on it, and the reputation we have all worked to build. Which is why the door is not open to everyone, and never will be.

The honest bit

A network is not a guarantee. No curation removes every risk, and we would never pretend otherwise.

What it does is stack the odds in your favour. It puts trusted names in front of you instead of a free-for-all, and it gives you people to ask when you are not sure. In a line of work that runs on who you know and who you can trust, that is no small thing.

The bottom line

The badge, the course, the kit, the contract. All of it is easier when you are plugged into people who have your back and standards you can rely on.

That is what we are building. Not the biggest network. The one you can trust.

Take a look atย our partner network. If you have, or know, a company that belongs in it, one that looks after its people and holds the standard, we would like to hear from you.ย Get in touch.

At a glance

  1. The industry is swamped with training providers and companies to work for. Plenty are excellent, plenty are not, and from the outside they look identical.

  2. Our partner network exists to shine a light on the ones worth trusting, not add to the noise.

  3. Every partner is chosen because we trust them, one at a time. If we would not use them ourselves, they are not in.

  4. We do not chase companies to join. They come to us, and no one joins without a founder-led conversation on ethos and values, plus a signed agreement to uphold the standard and support our members.

  5. For you, that takes the guesswork out. A trusted place to start, not a leap of faith, plus free partner workshops to upskill and get a feel for a course before you commit, and exclusive member discounts once you do.

  6. Collaboration over competition: if the right answer is someone else, we will point you to them, and our partners collaborate with each other too, delivering courses and working contracts side by side.

  7. The network protects everyone in it, partners and members alike, because the standard is kept high.

  8. It is not a guarantee, but it stacks the odds in your favour, and gives you people to ask.
