Sabre Technologies – SBR-X Alpine Conversion Kit (A–Pack) V.1
The Alpine Conversion Kit has been engineered by Sabre Consultancies in collaboration with Mountain Leaders (MLs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to extend the operating capability of the Scalable Battle Rig – Exoskeletal (SBR-X).
This ECW pack integrates seamlessly and efficiently, transforming the platform into an operationally deployable system whilst traversing multi-domain environments. Constructed utilising Squadron B-52 MultiCam® laminate, this system remains durable and abrasion resistant, enabling the end user to scale configurations in order to fulfil operational requirements, even in extreme climates.
Operating in the Arctic environment presents a multiplicity of unique challenges, such as reduced dexterity, moisture management, and the enhanced requirement to manage thermal signature effectively. The SBR-X ECW Conversion Kit has been designed to augment the operator’s ability to adapt to the harsh realities of this environment.
Key Features:
SBR-X Integration - Interfaces securely with SBR-X Exoskeletal Load Frames, ensuring enhanced rigidity and improved load transfer under demanding movement.
Enhanced Cold Weather Functionality - Optimised ergonomics whilst utilising ECW Clothing Systems.
Moisture & Snow Compaction Management - Hydrophobic materials reduce water absorption, and removable placard top flaps mitigate snow compaction within the magazine housing.
Economical Adaptation - This pack enables the end user to integrate into the Alpine environment without utilising additional platforms, mounting seamlessly into the existing SBR-X system.
