About This Course
A 10-day live-fire tactical course at 242 Group's South African facility, led by former UK Tier-1 Special Operations Forces operators. The course covers advanced pistol and rifle work, night operations with NVGs and IR lasers, and tactical contact drills on foot and in vehicles, including casualty extraction. Flights to and from South Africa are not included. Every candidate is subject to background clearance checks, a medical self-certification of fitness to train, a training injury indemnity waiver and an NDA. Places are by enquiry only. Enquire for your place and 242 Group will speak with you before a place is offered.
Outcomes
What You'll Learn
- Advanced 9mm pistol: weapon manipulation and dynamic engagements
- Advanced 5.56 rifle: precision and rapid multiple target acquisition on cardboard and steel
- Night operations: low-light and no-light firing with NVGs and IR lasers
- Tactical contact drills: high-stress scenarios on foot and in vehicles, including casualty extraction
