About This Course

An advanced operational course for individuals in public-facing security and safeguarding roles, providing the knowledge and practical skills to detect hostile reconnaissance, identify suspicious behaviour and deploy professionally as a Behavioural Detection Officer. Widely regarded as the UK benchmark for proactive threat detection and aligned with National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) guidance. Delivered over 3 days (typically 10:00–18:00) combining classroom learning, scenario work and two live public deployment exercises.
