About This Course
The Level 2 Award for Security Officers is a mandatory requirement to obtain the SIA Security Officer Licence, opening roles across retail, static site, corporate and event security. Designed by the SIA, the course covers law and legislation through to conflict management. As of April 2021 it runs to 3.5 days to include the SIA's additional training requirements. Blended: 9–10 hours of e-learning plus 3.5 days of classroom sessions.
