About This Course

The Belgraves of London Chauffeur Training Academy offers an intensive eight-day chauffeur training programme — delivered over two weeks — designed for individuals aiming to excel in professional chauffeuring, security driving, and executive transport. Driving instructors are former or currently serving Counter Terrorism Met Police officers, with years of experience training civilian candidates to Police Advanced Driving course standards. Module 1 — Advanced Driver Training: three days of on-road advanced driver training followed by the RoSPA Advanced Driving exam. Candidates must pass at Silver or Gold to proceed to the remainder of the course. Module 2 (four days): three days of soft skills (etiquette, protocols and interpersonal skills — presenting yourself and your vehicle to Royal and Diplomatic standards) plus a one-day accredited First Aid course for chauffeur and security drivers. The module includes Central London and Heathrow familiarisation, a private jet centre (airside) module, basic security awareness and working alongside Close Protection Operatives, and an introduction to armoured cars (latest-generation BMW). This is a pass-or-fail course: all elements must be passed to receive the Belgraves Award for Excellence. Holders of a current RoSPA Silver or Gold (gained within the last 3 years) may skip the first module and qualify for a reduced rate. Pre-course: candidates complete the GoPC online module beforehand — the online course certificate must be presented by Monday 19 October 2026. A pre-course pack (UK Highway Code and Roadcraft) is posted to the candidate's home address. Provided: all luxury vehicles and equipment, plus lunch and refreshments on site. Base location: Sutton, London SM1. Payment may be spread over 3 months. Prerequisites

•Candidates must be 25 to 65 years old.
•A full DVLA driving licence held for a minimum of 3 years. (Automatic-only licences are accepted.)
•Up to 6 penalty points allowed.
•Reduced rate available for existing RoSPA Silver/Gold holders (gained within the last 3 years), who may skip the first module.
