HEAT

Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) prepares individuals to operate confidently and safely in non-permissive, high-risk environments where threats can emerge unpredictably.

Overview

Grimnir LLC’s Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) is a comprehensive four-day programme designed for professionals, media personnel, humanitarian workers, and anyone likely to operate, travel, or deploy into high-risk, unstable, or non-permissive environments. This course goes beyond classroom theory. Participants learn to recognise emerging threats, make principled decisions under pressure, and apply practical safety skills in dynamic and realistic contexts. Delivered by experienced instructors with operational knowledge, the training focuses on situational awareness, risk mitigation, personal security, and survival strategies, all through a mix of interactive discussion, applied techniques, and scenario-based practice. This course is ideal for anyone preparing to operate in unfamiliar, volatile, or high-threat contexts and provides a strong foundation of both mindset and applied skills necessary for safer, more confident deployment.
