About This Course
The S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L Advisor Programme is The Ops Con’s flagship hostile environment training pathway, designed for professionals operating in austere, high-risk and complex environments. Structured across three access routes, the programme allows participants to select the level of training aligned with their role, experience and operational requirements: * Tier 3: Online Pathway * Tier 2: Blended Pathway * Tier 1: Full In-Person Immersion The Tier 1 Advisor Package represents the highest level of recognition within The Ops Con S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L Programme. This pathway is designed for professionals who require a comprehensive understanding of operating safely and effectively in austere and high-risk environments. Through a structured series of courses, participants develop operational awareness, threat recognition and medical capability required to operate alongside journalists, NGOs, expeditionary teams and security organisations working in complex environments. Participants working towards Tier 1 complete the full S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L training pathway: * S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L Level 1: Foundations of Safe Operations in Austere & High-Risk Environments * S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L Level 2: IED, UXO & Drone Threat Awareness * S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L Level 2: OSINT & Threat Intelligence * S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L Level 2: Media Backwatch Principles * S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L HEFAT: Hostile Environment First Aid Training Completion of the full pathway leads to S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L Tier 1 Advisor recognition. Tier 1 Advisors have completed the full S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L operational training framework and demonstrated the highest level of programme engagement. Tier 1 Advisors are included on the S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L Register and receive lifetime refresher access to Level 1 and Level 2 training, subject to course availability. Medical certification must be renewed separately to remain current. All courses must be completed within 12 months of purchase.

"What a ride. A truly mentally and physically demanding experience that delivered in so many ways. On 31st March along with 5 other initiates we started out on the very first delivery of The Ops Con's outstanding S.E.N.T.I.N.E.L Program. Today we crossed the finish line of the attendance phase of the program. Seven days of grafting, three classroom days each covering different aspects with a written 30+ question paper for each day, four days of practical scenarios and assessments on an MOD training area with lots of bangs and smoke. Now to finish off the course operational project to gain the Level 4 accreditation. This is a certification that has to be earned through hard work and effort and is not given.
