About This Course
Training is designed to move beyond theory, placing candidates into realistic operational environments within London, the centre of the UK close protection industry. The Ops Con Close Protection Programme is a selective 21-day training programme designed to provide a professional entry point into the executive protection industry. Delivered from The Ops Con HQ at Battersea Power Station and limited to six candidates per intake, the programme focuses on quality, realism, and professional standards rather than volume-based training. Candidates complete the Level 3 Certificate for Working as a Close Protection Operative (RQF), enabling them to apply for the SIA Close Protection Licence, alongside the Level 3 First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification. This ensures graduates are both operationally prepared and medically competent to work in professional environments. Training includes operational exercises across London, executive vehicle drills, and scenario-based learning designed to reflect real-world executive protection environments.
