Keep teams clear of FCDO advise-against-travel areas unless there is a compelling, risk-assessed reason and the insurance, medical and evacuation position is confirmed in advance. Sectarian violence adds a timing dimension: religious dates, processions and large political gatherings raise exposure, and belong in journey management.
