In Thailand, the FCDO updated its advice early this morning: severe flooding is affecting parts of the country, including Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani and Samut Prakan. "All 50 districts of Bangkok have been declared disaster-affected areas." The Thai government has declared special public holidays on 28 September and 29 September in those four provinces, and many government offices may be closed or working at reduced capacity. In Yemen, UNICEF said on Friday 25 September that it has verified at least 15 children killed since 3 September, against nine reported in its figures of 16 September, and that nearly 130,000 people have been displaced over the past three weeks, most of them in the southwestern Taiz Governorate.
