UK threat level. The national threat from terrorism remains SEVERE, meaning an attack is highly likely. The Northern Ireland-related threat level in Northern Ireland stands at SUBSTANTIAL. Neither has an expiry date and both can change without notice, so posture and vigilance should stay aligned to SEVERE.
